Windows 10: Sons pc data is on my pc. I used my account for his computer.

My son got a computer and we installed windows 10 a couple of years ago. I used my Microsoft account. At the time I had a very old pc. I have just got a new pc and installed windows 11. All his stuff is on my new pc. How do I untangle this mess?!!

adding PC to son's list of devices on microsoft account

Hello My whole family is listed under family in microsoft. However, my son's account only lists the xbox as his device. I would like to add my PC to his list as well but I can't see how to do it. I've tried logging out of my entire computer settings
and logging him in but computer won't let me log him in as administrator of computer so I can't do it that way. Can you please let me know how to do this? I want to let both kids have the PC as a device so they can play together--one on Xbox and one on
PC thank you

 

Uploading data from android to pc

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

• Have you tried to connect the Android device to PC using an USB cable?
  

However, you may follow these steps to check if that helps:

• Connect the Android device to the PC using a micro USB cable.
  
• You can see an ‘AutoPlay popup’ on your PC once your phone is successfully connected and recognized by the computer. Click on the ‘Open folder to view files’ option.
  
• Copy and paste the files or folders that you want to recover from your phone's internal memory to your PC.
  
• When the steps are done, you can successfully recover and transfer your data from Android phone with broken screen to your PC.
  

Alternatively, if you have the data saved on an external SD card, then you can plug in the card to the PC to transfer the data. You may need an adaptor to read the SD card on the PC.
