    Sony MDR 1000x not working after (~August 14th Windows 10 Update)


    I've already re-paired my cans several times, they will pair but not connect.



    When I turn on the headphones I get the "Power On" message but I never receive the "Bluetooth Connected" prompt. No audio from headphones and the device doesn't show up under the new crummy Windows "Sound" control panel.



    Digging deeper to the actual (old) sound control panel doesn't even list the device as being connected.



    What is going on?


    It shows them in the list but they don't show up as headphones. I really wish my computer hadn't updated right now.

    Pairing my Sony MDR-1000x headset to my lenovo pc

    Hi Henrik, I have the same issue with my Dell XPS 13. I've been browsing the web for an answer.

    Found this Sony Tutorial :

    but it doesn't work for my MDR 1000X. Hope you'll get more luck than I did.
