    Hi i have this sony vaio model PCG-71312. I have reset it from factory and now i want to download the newest drivers but i cant find them. For its best use the pc asked me to download these: <>pci simple communications controller driver<>base system device<>ethernet controller driver <>driver unknown device I did the same post at Sony Support but i did not receive any solution,Please let me know where i can find them for windows 7 32-bits.

    To quote a reply in the Sony Community Forum (LINK): "that number [PCG-71312L] is not the computer model, you must search under the screen there appears something like VPCEB."

    Hi i have this sony vaio model PCG-71312 with windows 7 ultimate 32-bits.



    I have reset it from factory and now i want to download the newest drivers but i cant find them.



    For its best use the pc asked me to download these:



    <>pci simple communications controller driver

    <>base system device

    <>ethernet controller driver

    <>driver unknown device

    The manufacturers of the drivers are unknown.

    I did the same post at Sony Support but i did not receive any solution,

    Please let me know where i can find them for windows 7 32-bits.

    I am in search for the drivers because half of the screen is broken so i was used to use it conected to an external monitor, but now with the factory reset i can´t conect it to another screen, and i think that the outdated drivers are causing this problem.
