Windows 10: Sony Vegas Pro 12 Crashing on Launch

    Sony Vegas Pro 12 Crashing on Launch


    On my PC (running build 10049), when I try to open Sony Vegas Pro 12 it closes when it gets to "Creating Windows". It was working fine a few days ago and I haven't installed any updates. It also works fine on my SP3 running the same build.

    Sony Vegas Pro 12 64 bit shown as incompatible when upgrading to Windows 10 from 7

    I've just upgraded my PC from Windows 7 to Windows 10 but find that I cannot open my video editing programme (Sony Vegas Pro 12 64bit). The Troubleshooting Compatibility link that comes up when I Right Cl. the icon on my Desktop shows that this is an incompatible
    programme even though Sony Vegas states that the programme is designed for use with Windows 10. Is the only solution to go back to Windows 7 or is there a way around this?

    Sony Vegas Pro 12 Crashing on Launch

    Actually this thread can be deleted as after updating to Build 10061 the problem had gone away and Sony Vegas stopped crashing.
