Sony WH-CH720N not working well windows 11 and not working teams

    Hi Ben,

    I'm Amr, an independent advisor.

I'm sorry you are facing this problem

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problem:

    1. Update Bluetooth drivers

Make sure you have the latest Bluetooth drivers installed on your Windows 11 computer.

You can usually find the latest drivers on the manufacturer's website or through Windows Update.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/upd...

Also, update drivers manually in Windows

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/upd...

    2. Reset Bluetooth settings

Go to the Windows 11 Settings app, navigate to the "Bluetooth & devices" section, and try removing the WH-CH720N from the list of paired devices. Then, restart your computer and pair the headphones again.

    3. Disable other Bluetooth devices

If you have other Bluetooth devices connected to your Windows 11 computer, try disconnecting them temporarily to see if it improves the performance of the WH-CH720N headphones.

    4. Check audio settings

Open the Windows 11 Sound settings and ensure that the correct audio output device is selected. You can also try adjusting the audio quality settings to see if it makes a difference.

    5. Test with different apps

If the issue persists with Microsoft Teams, try using the headphones with other communication apps like Skype or Zoom to see if the problem is specific to Teams or more general.

    6. Contact Sony support

If none of the above steps resolves the issue, it may be worth reaching out to Sony support for further assistance.

They may have specific troubleshooting steps or firmware updates available for your headphones.

Remember to check for any firmware updates for your Sony WH-CH720N headphones as well, as these updates can sometimes address compatibility issues.

I hope this is helpful. If you require any additional assistance, don't hesitate to respond to this.

    Best Regard

    Amr

  3. Issues connecting Sony WH-CH720N Bluetooth headphones to a Windows 11 laptop.

    Hi,

I'm experiencing issues connecting a pair of Sony WH-CH720N Bluetooth headphones to a Windows 11 laptop. To summarise:

    1) The laptop is completely up to date as far as updates and drivers are concerned.

    2) The headphones are on the latest version of firmware.

    3) I have attempted to pair the headphones with the laptop but the device is not discovered.

    4) I have attempted a reset of the headphones (plug into charger, press Power and NC together) with no effect.

    5) I can connect the laptop via Bluetooth to a JBL Flip 6 speaker and a Panasonic SC-DM502 music system.

    6) I can connect the headphones to a Sony NW-A55L DAP and Nokia G21 smartphone.

This appears to be a common problem and I have tried all the suggestions I can find, short of a factory reset of the headphones, which I'm loathe to do while I can connect to other devices (point 6). Anything you can suggest would be much appreciated.

Hi! Good day , Jerry here, an independent advisor. Here to help you.

Please try this, as most of the time this usually fix bluetooth issues.

Please note that by doing this all devices paired on your laptop will be removed and you would need to pair all those devices again.

    - Press the Windows key on your keyboard to open the Start menu

    - Click on the "Settings" gear icon

    - In the Settings, click on "Devices"

    - Click on the "Bluetooth & devices" option from the left-hand menu.

    - Locate the section titled "Bluetooth" and click on the "More Bluetooth options"

    - In the "Options" tab, you'll find a button labeled "Reset." Click on it.

    - After resetting the Bluetooth settings, restart your computer to apply the changes.
