Is there a way that I can place the name or title of that scan into a table and then input the three other details?

You can create an Excel table containing the names of the files, then add further details as desired. You can then sort the table any way you like.

To get the file names into a spreadsheet, you can do this:

    1. Mark & copy the command line below
    2. Open File Explorer and navigate to the Scan folder.
    3. Press Ctrl+L, then Ctrl+V to paste the code line
    4. Press Enter, then Enter again after the pause.
    5. Open the file Applications.xls. It is in the current folder.

    cmd /c dir / b /s > Applications.xls & pause

What do you want to do ?

What I perceived was a form of table as set out below which I had hoped to be able to input a title of each of the scans I would make of each of the 1,000 job applications. I assumed that as I scanned a job application I would be able to save each one within
the table but I've been unable to work that out. I already have an Epson GT 15000 scanner but Epson told me that the software with that would not do what I ask although they do market a smart scanner with software that will facilitate what I wish to do. I
have never seen the Scanner app from Microsoft.

Many thanks for your help. Brian L
