    Sorting in Task manager is extremely slow.


    Task manager sorting is extremely slow when I switch from sorting by name to performance metrics or vice versa. For example - I can sort by name and if after that I decide to sort by one of the performance metrics - it's going to take about 3 seconds to do so. After that - I can freely sort by any of the performance metrics and I will experience no lag, unless I try to sort by the name again. In which case I will see another lag, also about 3 seconds. And from this point the cycle repeats.I have had this issue before - the only resolution I have found - was to reinstall the windows, but it's n

    Task Manager inaccurate?

    Hi
    I'm currently troubleshooting a Win10 laptop with an extremely slow startup and using Task Manger to see what's using the resources.
    Now according to Task Manager/Processes the disk is running at 99% but in the list there's less than 3Mb in use!
    So how is it giving me useful results, is it simply inaccurate or am I misunderstanding it's function?

    Sorting in Task manager is extremely slow.

    No restart button in task manager

    another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.
