Windows 10: Sound crackling and lag

Every time I watch videos/Play game, Sound lag/error comes. the sound pauses repeatedly in seconds and makes a noise like "beeeeeps". I have tried all the ways, sometimes it works and sometimes not.

I tried to roll back sound driver on device manager

I tried to uninstall sound driver on device manager

I tried to update sound driver on device manager

I don't know why this is happening to my computer? my computer was doing fine sound, but for some other reasons I had to change

and restore my last windows 10 to the latest windows 10. since that, this sounds problem started to appear. I'm really driving crazy

Sound Crackles


Whenever I'm watching a stream or playing a game with a stream my sound crackles and pops. I'm using Sennhieser PC 363d and I've tried another headset and also speakers and I'm still experiencing the sound issues. It started happening about 3 weeks ago when I started playing The Division. When the sound is crackling it makes my computer lag and the LEDs on my keyboard skip with the lag. I'm not sure what to do, I'm hoping someone here can help me *Sad

Sound Crackles

It is not the sound that causing the computer lag etc. But a common thing is causing it all.

As you said, it is happening in a game. Make it sure if it is only a single game, or the same thing is happening with any game.

If it is happening with a single game only, then the game itself causing the entire issue. Let Steam know about it, ask the devs for patches or custom settings that will work for your system.

If the issue occurs in any other game too, then troubleshooting will be needed at your part. So let us know about it.
