Windows 10: Sound crackling (Static noise) on Windows 10 Laptop speakers and Wired headphones.

I have this (brand new) Lenovo laptop having Windows 10 Home Single Language x64, latest build (KB4550945). Though I got this laptop around two months ago, I was using only Bluetooth audio devices, so I didn't check the audio output. While Bluetooth output was just fine, the laptop speaker and any connected wired headsets are giving terrible audio output with lots of static noise/crackling. I have gone through all steps given on various forums on the internet, including:

1> Checking drivers (Windows 10 claims all drivers are upto date).

2> Checking for updates (No updates available).

3> Disabling enhancements. (Actually Windows doesn't show a separate enhancement tab on this Laptop, I am quite puzzled. There is just a single dialog box to enable disable enhancements).

4> Changing sample rate and bit depth.

5> Doing a restart (that was actually my first step).

6> Toggling exclusive mode.

Both the headsets/earphones are working well with other devices.

What can I do to resolve this issue ASAP on my own? Since my country (India) is in lockdown due to the current Covid-19 crisis, I can't seek support from an expert.

If it is of any relevance (Though I don't think it is), the specs are 8 GB RAM, 250 GB SSD, 1 TB HDD and Intel i5 10th Gen. Also, I had issues with the system randomly crashing, freezing completely, and not responding to anything, forcing me to do a forced shutdown everytime. I uninstalled the McAfee Antivirus and Firewall that had come pre installed on the system and since then, it has been working fine.

Laptop speaker crackling noise problem

Hello,

My laptop has developed a very annoying crackling noise in the right speaker as of late. I started noticing it as I was listening to some music on it, and then it gradually got worse and worse to the point that I couldn't bear it any more. I do not get this problem when I wear headphones, it's just the right speaker acting up. The laptop is new (less than two months old) and still under warranty. At the moment I have turned the speaker off and I am only running off the left one when not using headphones. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. Also, I don't think it's driver related because the left speaker works flawlessly and I don't get the same annoying crackling sounds when using headphones.

 

Crackling and static noise coming out of the speakers

Hello,

Since a couple of days there is a crackling sound as well as static noise coming from the speakers. It is not a hardware issue, as I replaced them with another set, nor a line out cable issue as I tried 3 different cables nor a software one as all drivers
are up to date.

When I configure them in control panel as stereo the noise is NOT there.

White noise/static from all headphones in laptop

Yesterday my headphone started making this loud white noise/static sound while plugged into my ASUS laptop. I tried changing headphones and the noise still persists, but when unplugged the speakers sound fine. None of the enhancements are on, the mic is
turned off, and I've tried reinstalling the audio driver through troubleshooting to no avail. Is there anything else I can do?
