Windows 10: Sound Cuts Out Randomly & Has Static After Windows 11 Updates

So yeah, after I updated my Windows, my sound has been full of static no matter what program I use, the effect is all the same, cuts out randomly, sometimes lasting for several minutes with no sound completely, and I want to know how to roll back the updates so I can fix my volume.

Windows 10 no sound, just static

This computer came pre-loaded with Windows 10, I have owned it for two months, with no sound problems. This morning (unknown if there was a Windows update last night) the sound does not work. There is no partial sound when attempting to play music. There is only a constant (with or without playing music) low-level static.

I have done all the usual steps with drivers, updating, uninstalling, deleting, reinstalling. No change.

Originally in device manager, under Sound there was listed (I forget the exact wording):
Intel
Realtek
NVidea

After uninstalling and rebooting there is only:
High Definition Audio Device (assume this is the default)

On the Asus support website where are only Realtek audio drivers. I downloaded and installed those. So now device manager, under sound, shows:
High Definition Audio Device
Realtek High Definition Audio

No matter what I do, same result, just low-level static, no sound or music of any kind.

Any ideas anyone?

Sound cuts out when in game and call

Sound randomly cuts out.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Device Troubleshooter

  Type Troubleshooting in the search bar, click on
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on Hardware and Sound, click on
  Hardware and Devices.
  
• 
  Follow the steps from the wizard to run the Troubleshooter.
  

If the issue persist, refer to the below method.

Method 2: Reinstall the Driver.

If the issue still persists, then I would suggest you to reinstall the driver and check. Refer to these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X, select
  device manager.
  
• 
  Locate the Audio adapter, right click and select
  properties.
  
• 
  Click on the driver tab and click
  uninstall to uninstall the current driver.
  
• 
  Now, restart the computer and Windows will load the generic audio driver for the computer.
  
• 
  Check if you face the same issue with the Windows generic drivers.
  
• 
  If yes, download and install the latest audio driver.
  
• 
  Now, right click on the audio adapter and select “Scan for hardware changes”.
