Windows 10: Sound cuts out regularly for about second

Hi! I have a new issue past couple of weeks where the sound will cut out about every 11 seconds for just a blip -- noticeable, but comes back immediately. - Only happened on my USB-connected speakers. USB-connected headset had no issues. Changing USB ports didn't fix the sound issue.- Changing the speakers to Bluetooth connection fixed the issue.- Sound source didn't matter -- all sources had the blip cutout every 11 seconds.The Audio Troubleshooter couldn't find, replicate, or fix the problem. I haven't tried a different USB cord, so that's the only hardware fix I haven't played with. Has a

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

No Sound In Games After Creators Update

I did what you suggested and the sound now cuts out for 2 seconds sometimes in all applications. I also tried a clean install of windows 10. The windows default drivers cut the sound out completely after a while then I have to restart the application to
get the sound back. Then when I use the newest Realtek drivers the sound cuts out for 2 seconds sometimes. Something was screwed up with the first creators update because my sound worked perfect with windows default driver.
