Windows 10: Sound Devices shown as "Not Plugged in"

I have gone through the forums and tried many solutions, but nothing has worked.A few days ago my audio worked fine, but now it's impossible for my computer to detect any output device with the exception of my two monitors. When I open Sound Devices this is what I seeI have tried updating drivers, uninstalling certain drivers and reinstalling them, restarting my pc, and even resetting my windows installation entirely. Nothing has worked. I am using an AMD Radeon 6700 XT GPU and a Ryzen CPU.I have used the application Driver Easy to verify if all my drivers are up to date. I used it to update t

Computer Won't Auto Change the Playback Device When Headphones Plugged In/Out

Is the issue specific to only Headphones/ Does External Speaker play when plugged in?

I suggest you to try resetting the default device as shown in the steps given below and check if the issue persists.

  Plug in the Headphones in the machine.
  
• 
  Go to Start and Control Panel.
  
• 
  Select 'Hardware and Sound'.
  
• 
  Click 'Change system sounds'.
  
• 
  Click 'Playback' tab. (It should then show you your headphones in the list).
  
• 
  Select your proper Headphone device from the list, then Click 'Set Default'.
  
• 
  Now unplug your Headphones and select speakers from the list, then Click 'Set Default'.

Disable beep sound when plugging/unplugging laptop charger

I would suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

Disable the PC Speakers and check if it helps.

• Right click on Sound Icon in the task bar and go to Playback devices.
  
• Select Speaker and click on properties.
  
• Go to Levels tab, and mute (or you can reduce it) PC Speaker and check if it helps.
  

 

USB sound/midi device not recognized

I have a Technics PR804 keyboard attached to my Windows 10 laptop through USB. I've installed the drivers that came with my keyboard by entering compatibility mode to Windows ME, but the device manager won't recognize the hardware when it's turned on and
plugged into my laptop. I've seen instructions online indicating that device manager should identify the keyboard as a sound device, and that I should be able to choose folder location for correct driver, but can't complete this step as device manager does
not list the keyboard as an available device.

Any suggestions?
