Windows 10: sound drivers are not shown in divice manager

hi sound is not audible in my laptop version windows 10

After installing Windows 10 sound driver is not available in Device Manager and issues with sound.

• When you say that "there is nothing in the device manager for sound gone", is the sound driver available in the Device Manager driver list?

USB flash drive not shown on "This PC", but shown on "Divice Manager".

To help us isolate the cause of this issue with your USB flash drive, we would like to know the following information:

• Do you receive any error message when inserting the flash drive?
• Do you see any error related to the flash drive in the Device Manager?
• Have you tried inserting the flash drive in other USB ports on your computer?
• Have you successfully accessed the flash drive in the past?

In the meantime, let's run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter. This troubleshooter will find and fix hardware issues on your system. To run it, follow the steps below:

• Click Start.
• On the search bar, type Troubleshooting, and click on
  Troubleshooting from the results.
• Click Hardware and Sound.
• Under Device, click Hardware and Devices to start the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

Sound doesn't work - but driver won't reinstall

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand your concern, I would suggest you to go to the device manager and check if the sound drivers are installed. If installed please update the drivers and check.

Step 1:

• 
  Press Windows key + X.
  
• 
  Click on Device Manager, expand “sound, video and game controllers”
  and check if any sound drivers are installed.
  
• 
  If yes, right click on the driver and hit update.
  

Or else go the manufacturer website and install the latest driver.

Step 2: Also run hardware troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter.
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshooting tab.
  
• 
  Click on view all option on the upper left corner.
  
• 
  Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
