    Hi, My Name Is Marilyn I am / have been trying to fix outdated or non-supported audio issues.Is there a way I can find a fix, without having to upgrade to Windows 11. I haven't used a pc for 11 yrs. approx. I bought this secondhand Computer. Only to find Windows 10 on it, and I am forgetting how I used to be able to basically figure thigs out, I think I am getting closer to my goal, to obtain Having audio, and Video, Sharing capabilities as well. I have joined a group and need to be able to share songs as well as Videos to group. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    Hi,

    It's possible that your sound driver was turned off by a third-party application. To fix it, we suggest that you use the built-in Windows 10 audio troubleshooter by following these steps:

    • Click Start.
    • Type Troubleshoot and press Enter.
    • Click Playing Audio.
    • Click Run the troubleshooter.

    If in case the audio troubleshooter doesn't work, use the other steps in this
    article    . Just click the drop-down arrow and select the other choices offered.

    Let us know if you're able to restore the sound on your computer after following these steps.

    After installing Windows 10 sound driver is not available in Device Manager and issues with sound.

    This issue might occur if sound driver is corrupt.

    To assist you better, please provide us the information below:

    • When you say that "there is nothing in the device manager for sound gone", is the sound driver available in the Device Manager driver list?
    • Are you getting any error message on the computer?
