Windows 10: Sound gets all weird and quiet whenever I fire up a game? pls help

Hey there,

Ive been trying to get a solution for this issue for days now, but I really cant. So I just recently got a whole new pc. I wanted to play some games but sometimes when i fire up a game the sound of my whole pc gets kinda quiet, a little muffled and just sounds like Im listening through some Headset from WW2. This doesnt occur on game start necessarily. Sometimes it comes up whenever i click on amother program and then click back into the game. Ive tried a lot, like disabling Communication sound settings or changing audio bitrate.

If someone could help me with this I would be really glad. Thanks in advance

pls help me finding my game

One of my xbox games has dissapeared ,i cannot find it either in my app list or on my xbox games list however when i visited store to reinstall, it was already installed ,the game still shows some notifications and i am only able to play it by clicking
on the notification ,pls help me find my game

 

Earphone volume too loud or too quiet on Windows 10


Hi I'm having a weird problem on my laptop running Windows 10 Pro. The earphone volume is either too loud or too quiet, and seems to switch between these two upon every restart. When it's too loud, keeping it at 1/100 is equivalent to 20-30/100 when sound was normal, when it's too quiet, keeping it at 100/100 is equivalent to 10-20/100 when sound was normal. Already googled extensively and tried pretty much every suggestion I found with no results:

• Enable/disable loudness equalization in playback device settings
• Enable/disable Windows Sonic for headphones in playback device settings
• Check for errors in sound devices in device manager - no errors
• Update sound drivers - all updated
• Try different earphones - tried like 4 already, definitely not an issue with earphones
• Even tried system restore, still not fixed
