Windows 10: Sound goes missing from right ear on startup

I have hyperX cloud stinger s -headphones that use a usb-a adapter. It works fine when i plug them in but after restart or startup, the audio is only on the left side. I tried testing the audio in the sound settings menu and it played the sound in 7.1 way. But when using enything else like youtube or spotify, even windows notifications, the sound is only in the left ear. I just simply have to replug the headphones for them to start to work but it's not nice to do it every time since i have to reach to the back of my pc.I think this is windows/windows settings related issue so i thought of aski

Windows Startup Sound

As per the previous posts I understand that you are referring to Startup sounds in Windows 10.

If so, I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

Make sure that your device speakers are working fine before performing the troubleshooting steps.

  Right click on the Volume icon on the Task bar.
  
• 
  Select Sounds option from the list.
  
• 
  Select Sounds tab.
  
• 
  Check mark on Play Windows Startup sound option.
  
• 
  Under Program Events: click on any option and under Sounds: select Windows Startup from the list.
  
• 
  Click on Browser button and select a
  Sound.
  
• 
  Try to restart the computer and check if it helps.

TWS earphones only plays sound in the right ear when connected to laptop while it plays on both ears when connected to mobile.

TWS earphones only plays sound in the right ear when connected to laptop while it plays on both ears when connected to mobile. Please provide step by step instruction where the setting can be changed in the laptop.

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
