Windows 10: Sound is not working along with any of the pre installed apps.

2 day ago, I got memory management stop error and then when I rebooted, my login screen was completely black so I had to perform a clean installation of windows by a usb drive. Yesterday I got a message saying that there are error in my drive which windows needs to fix. After restarting all of the MSI apps Dragon center, help desk, driver and app center etc., today when i started my pc,I tried to reinstall them but the setups will not launch either, sound was not working and after checking, I found that the drivers no longer exist. I can not access settings, notification or anything that comes preinstalled with windows photos and videos too. I am on legacy boot mode, so is there a way to correct this problem because my laptop is getting quite hot as I can no longer use dragon center to control the fan speed.


What should I do??

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Sound Quality

One thing that sticks out from looking at your "My Computer" specs. You list "ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)" which suggests you do not have the correct sound hardware driver. Your motherboard has Realtek sound and the first step is to install the Realtek sound drivers. My ASUS also came with Sonic Studio 2 which is a sound enhancement package. Check the ASUS install disc to see if you have something similar.

May not be a speaker problem.
