Sound Issue: Left and Right Channel Volume Keeps Going Out of Sync

Every once in a while I notice that the left and right channel volume of my headset is lopsided and I go into sound properties to fix it. One of the channels will have 2-4 more volume than the other. Is there a way to prevent this from happening in the first place? I change the sound volume using the scroll wheel on this taskbar menu.

    :)

Windows 11 Keeps Resetting Right Channel Volume Down to 50 But Doesn't Affect Left Channel

So I'm using a USB headset with mic (Razer Kraken Ultimate) and every so often, when I ever I boot up my computer and load into Windows, the volume for my right channel speaker has reset down to 50 but the left channel stays at 100. I keep the overall volume at 100 as well as for the left and right channels.

I refuse to use Razer Synapse 3 for my headset as it's terrible software that brings even more issues but when I did use it, this same issue still happened.

I also use Dolby Atmos for Headphones for the spatial sound.

So far, I have tried the following

    • Disabled all enhancements from Sound in control panel
    • Unchecked Allow Applications to take exclusive control of this device as well as Give exclusive mode applications priority
    • Uninstalled the drivers and allowed Windows to reinstall them from Device Manager (restarted PC for this)
    • Removed Dolby Atmos from spatial sound option, still reset right channel volume
    • Disabled all other sound devices on the PC so it's just the USB headset that is active

These are the details of the audio drivers:

    Provider: (Generic USB Audio)

    Driver date: 9/27/2022

    Driver version: 10.0.22621.608

This also doesn't happen every time I boot up the PC but usually every 1-2 days or so.

If anyone else has this issue and has found a fix, please let me know. Thanks a bunch. And Yes, my Windows 11 is fully updated.

  3. Media Player - left right channels -swapping and controlling

    Hello,

We regret the inconvenience. Let me assist you.

When you say channel, do you mean disabling any particular channel or balancing audio stream to only one particular channel?

For the latter, this should be what you need:

    • Right click on Start > Control Panel. Now click on 'Hardware and Sound'.
    • In the 'Hardware and Sound' dialog box that appears, click on 'Sound'.
    • Once you click on 'properties', you will see a 'Speakers properties' dialog as shown above. Now click on 'levels' tab, and click on 'Balance' button as shown above. Once you click on 'Balance', you will see a dialog box to adjust the volume of left and
right speakers. You can adjust the volume of individual speakers by moving the sliders of L or R.

The above system will impact overall sound output of Windows, irrespective of the media player you use.

Hope the above information is helpful. Write to us if need further assistance.

    Thank You.

Sound Issue: Left and Right Channel Volume Keeps Going Out of Sync

Copy left channel audio to right

My audio card is cooked and only left audio channel is working and outputting sound. What I would like to do is copy left audio channel to right channel.

I can't seem to find the solution. I would like to do it virtually (with software).

I know it is going to be mono sound, yet it is better then nothing.

    Any tips?

This is not a duplicate question since I am not looking for how to set sound to mono mode, rather I am looking how to route left channel audio to right channel.
