Windows 10: Sound issue on Dell with Windows 11 and MagicJack

Hi: I'm having sound issues with my MagicJack Express on both my Dell Windows 11 PC and my older HP Windows 10 no dial tone and people cannot hear me.On my Dell PC Windows 11, I cannot select the telephone option on my MagicJack panel, only headset/other is selected and I cannot change that. The Handset USB Internet Phone by TigerJet option is not available on the microphone option, but it is available on the speaker/earpiece option and on the ringing option.Is this a driver issue? Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not a technical guru and advice would be appreciated.

Microphone works but not with magicjack win10

The built in mic on my HP Pavilion 17 laptop works fine.

When I try to use it with magicjack it doesn't pick up any sound.

I checked in settings and it has a list of apps that are able to use the mic, but I don't see magicjack in the list.

The windows voice recorder works fine.

Each and every time you send out a windows up date it KILLS my MagicJack.

MagicJack is a USB plugin that gives me a phone number in Omaha, Ne and I can call any US phone number with out a cost.



Problem is each update for Win 10 screws up the firm ware for MagicJack and resets all custmazations I made in the start up of the firmware.



I am able to call US phone numbers and can hear the person on the other end but they are not able to hear me.



Only after going in and set up MagicJack afain and running CCleaner for programs and Register will MagicJack work as it should.



I have no idea what your updates are ding but they are not working as they should when they screw up other firmware. Etc.




It is a Windows 10 issue because Skype works.

 

No sound w/MagicJack since upgrading to Windows 10

Hello,

I recently upgraded to Windows 10, but for some reason I can't hear my phone messages on my MagicJack service connected to my computer. I play them back, but there's no sound. My MJ service prior had no issues. It's a problem not being able to hear my messages.
I can download them to my computer, but that's an extra couple of steps that I didn't have to do before. I like the immediacy of being able to hear them from my desktop. I'm not experiencing any other sound issues. Cortana is fine, videos are fine, Pandora
is fine. FYI -- I have a Samsung laptop.
