    sound level changes by itself

For the last several months the system sound level will change by itself. It doesn't happen often but it does happen. I'm wondering what causes the sound level to change by itself and what to do about it. I set the system sound level at 22%. Just today it changed itself to 11%. One time it was 15%. Got me. I look forward to anyone's comments. Thanks

  2. sound level on the sound system

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

You can customize the sound level for individual applications through the Volume Mixer. Here's how you can access it:

    1. Right-click on the Volume icon in the taskbar (usually located in the bottom right corner) and select "Open Volume Mixer."
    2. A Volume Mixer window will open, displaying a list of all the applications that are currently producing sound.
    3. Find the application for which you want to customize the sound level and adjust the corresponding slider to increase or decrease the volume for that specific application.
    4. You can also click on the speaker icon below the slider to mute or unmute the sound for that application.
    5. Repeat these steps for any other applications you want to customize the sound level for.
By adjusting the volume levels for individual applications in the Volume Mixer, you can have more control over the sound output on your laptop.

    Best regards

    Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue sound level changes by itself :p
