Windows 10: Sound not working at all, windows 10 64bit

Hey, so I've played around a bit with the registry editor and cmd in order to find the pre-login windows 10 wallpapers. Thing is, I'm bad at computers and probably messed something up. I can't hear anything from my PC anymore (speakers or headphones). Sound icon is popping up when I play a youtube video, and every sound setting is how it should be (i.e.) the speaker icon at the task bar right side), but still, can't hear anything.
Also, if it's worth mentioning, since the accidental tweaks I've probably made with the registry editor and cmd, every time I turn my computer on, I get some pop-up error messages, like "The code execution cannot proceed vcruntime140.dll. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem" and "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

*Note: I tried to restore registry settings from before I messed with it and after 20-30 minutes of my computer executing the process, I've checked it again and the problem wasn't solved.

I'd love to get some help on this whole situation, I'm as clueless as one can get. Thank you.

I appreciate the efforts taken by you in performing various troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue. I understand that you are unable to get sound on your iMac having Windows 10. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.



However, please let us know:

• How is Windows installed on the computer (Boot camp/parallels)?
  
• Do you see a red X on the Sound icon on Taskbar?
  
• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer prior to the issue?
  

• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? Refer
  Which version of Windows operating system am I running?
  

Meanwhile, if you are using Boot Camp, I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below:



Method 1: Install Windows Support Software



I suggest you to Download and install Windows support software on your Mac.

why does 64bit crysis not work?

If you are running Windows 7 x64, you need to run the 64bit executable in compatibility mode for Vista SP1. That worked for me. If not that, try all the Vista compatibility modes listed.

 

all games crash!

I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
