Windows 10: Sound problems

Hi! I have a new laptop and it's ASUS Vivobook Device name zeina Processor AMD Ryzen 5 7520U with Radeon Graphics 2.80 GHz Installed RAM 8.00 GB 7.28 GB usable Device ID 7B5C9F9E-EFDD-432C-A3D1-67F0495196FE Product ID 00342-43454-75428-AAOEM System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display. The sound is coming out distorted and completely unclear! I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the settings, a problem

Sound problem

Hi,

We need to investigate further so that we can identify the cause of the issue. We suggest running the Troubleshooter and see if it helps. Follow the steps below:

• Type and select Troubleshooting on the Search bar/Cortana.
• Click Hardware and Sound.
• Select Playing Audio under Sound.
• Follow the steps that will be provided.

If the steps does not work. We suggest downloading a fresh copy of the audio driver from Realtek and see if it helps.

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

• Do you get any error message?
• In which browser are you facing this issue?
• What is the make and model of your computer?
