Windows 10: Sound Settings Messed Up...

I’m having my first real sound issue, and am not very technical to be able to sort it out. I’m just starting to work with music on my PC, and have been trying out a couple of the DAW Digital Audio Workstation packages for this. I've been trying a DAW called Cakewalk for a week or so, and a couple of days ago downloaded another, Cubase Pro 13 to try/learn. At first, it seemed to work fine even though I could do almost nothing on it yet, and I was trying to follow tutorials to learn it, but found that whenever I had Cubase open, I couldn't get any sound out of Youtube. Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Sound card amplification settings

Yeah unfortunately ASUS and Realtek are not stepping up and fixing this it seems. Wherever I see such problems mentioned on forums some users are suggesting just uninstalling the Realtek driver and using the Windows audio driver.

 

I got no sound microsoft or horrible sound

• Are you getting any error message?
• Have you installed all the pending Windows updates?
