Windows 10: Sound Stutter with Razer Synapse Surround and WinVer20H2 (OS Build 19042.867)

Everything was working just fine until last night I installed a windows update. Turn the PC back on today and found this horrible audio stutter. Going through the motions of trying to work out what the issue was I have updated (both automatically and manually) my device drivers, tried switching ports, tried out different devices and between that and the multiple restarts the only way I've been able to reproduce the problem consistently regardless of anything else is when razer synapse is set to "SURROUND ON". It just running doesnt seem to be an issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it.

I have checked for other posts and it seems to be suggested that i should update my WLAN drivers which I'd do if I had any, my PC doesn't have a wifi card installed, and that I should install something called bluestacks which as a solution seems so arcane and weird that I thought to post here for something more sensible before I try that.

Anyone experiencing the same? What should I do?

Razer Synapse not working on my desktop

Hello,

I got a Razer Naga chroma mouse " biggest mistake ever" and i proceed to download the driver on my gaming desktop and its not working, I can see the razer synapse in the bottom right , when i right click it and press open nothing happens.

I contacted support" and they dont know what they are doing, they are just asking me to uninstal and reinstal synapse, then unsital frame work and reinstall etc etc... and ive done everything and nothing is working..

I decided to give the synapse a try on my laptop, and weirdly enough it worked fine.

both laptop and desktop have the same OS "win 10 64 bits ,but i have no idea why it works fine on my laptop and not the desktop.

Anything anyone can do to help me? advise,recommend? im open to any suggestion

RAZER synapse won't update

Iv upgraded to windows 10 and since doing so my headsets don't work (razer & Microsoft) and I run the update for razer synapse for windows 10 and it just stops part way through! driving me crazy!!

 

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue
