Windows 10: Sound volume

Why does the sound volume get changed to 67% when I install updates for Windows 10? This level is deafening!I keep setting the level to 30%, but after installing Windows 10 updates, it gets changed back to 67%

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set.
