Windows 10: Soundbar HT-RT5 is not connecting to my computer

Im connecting the sound bar from Display port PC output to hdmi soundbar input on my graphics cardthe only other connection i have on it is HDMI to HDMI for my monitorI went to device manager and it says it is not plugged in even though it isI connected the soundar to other devices such as bluetooth and my switch and those output sound just fine I dont know how else to go about this issue

Unable to connect to my bluetooth soundbar

I have a brand new Asus X555DG computer with Windows 10 and a LG LAS350B soundbar, and the problem is that I have not been able to connect them to eachother via bluetooth.

I have had the soundbar for over a year, and it's working perfectly. It's been connected via optic cable to my TV decoder, via bluetooth to my mobile phone and via bluetooth to my old computer - all working perfectly (and still working). In other words,
the soundbar itself is NOT the problem.

I am able to find the bluetooth soundbar and install it on my Asus computer - the problem is it wont stay connected after installation, and when I right-click on the soundbar under my sound devices to connect to it, it just stays disconnected. For some reason,
though, whenever the soundbar is off and I click connect on my computer, the soundbar turns on. In other words, the bluetooth on my computer is working and is sending a signal that it wants to connect. It's just not able to maintain the connection.

I have tried every standard solutions possible. I've tried removing it and installing it again, I've tried checking under services to see if the bluetooth service is running (it is), I've tried updating every driver possible (it says I've got the best drivers
already), and I've been in touch with both ASUS (they're useless) and LG without any help. I have also tried calling Microsoft, and they asked me to write here to see if others could help...

Please help me, as this is extremely frustrating.

 

tatronics soundbar no longer pairing.

Hi, I contacted Microsoft support for an audio issue. As part of troubleshooting, they unpaired my Taotronics Bluetooth soundbar from my windows 11 computer.

The soundbar no longer pairs with my computer. The soundbar is operative as it pairs with my phone. It is currently unpaired from the phone. Microsoft made some changes to my Bluetooth and updated Bluetooth drivers. Windows was reloaded. I can pair other devices. Any suggestions to get my soundbar to pair with my computer again?

1. What is the make and model of the computer?
   
2. Are you aware of any recent changes made on the device?
   
3. Which version of Windows is running on your device?
   

You may try the below suggested step and check if the issue still persists.

Method 1

Set LG Soundbar as default play back device

1. Click on Volume icon from the taskbar.
   
2. Click on Sounds and click on
   Playback tab.
   
3. Select LG Soundbar and click on Set as default to check the status of the issue.

I suggest you to refer the article Fix sound problems in Windows 10
for more troubleshooting steps.

If the issue still persists try updating the latest Firmware & Drivers from the
manufacture’s website.

Click on Support section and select the preferred option under
Contact Us to get in touch with the manufacturer support for the further assistance.
