Windows 10: Soundbar not discoverable on PC

Hello everyone,I have a Samsung Soundbar HWM360 which is not discoverable by my PC's via bluetooth running windows 10. It does not show up under Audio, nor it is discoverable upon searching for new devices.- My iPhone/Pixel is able to pair with my Soundbar, and so is my MacBook and other Windows laptops.- My PC is able to pair with my iPhone, and other portable bluetooth speakersSo far I have tried:- Hardware device troubleshooting- Updating bluetooth drivers- Restarting bluetooth service- Windows Update- Making my PC discoverable- On the chat with a Windows agent for more than an hourAnyone

Windows 10 bluetooth issues - can't find soundbar

I recently updated to Windows 10 and when I first tried to connect to my Samsung soundbar with bluetooth there was no sound coming out. I thought I'd try and remove the device then add it again to see if it set it straight but ever since then my laptop hasn't
been able to find the soundbar. Everything's discoverable and close enough to be found but it just won't appear.

Once I can find it again I'll get onto the issue of playing sound, but one step at a time....

 

Soundbar sometimes switches off

Thanks for the suggestion, I have tried it on my laptop and seem to get some plopping sounds, and other strange noises so it does look as if the soundbar is faulty. I hope I can still return it, even though I no longer have the box it came in.

2. Are you aware of any recent changes made on the device?
   
3. Which version of Windows is running on your device?
   

You may try the below suggested step and check if the issue still persists.

Method 1

Set LG Soundbar as default play back device

1. Click on Volume icon from the taskbar.
   
2. Click on Sounds and click on
   Playback tab.
   
3. Select LG Soundbar and click on Set as default to check the status of the issue.

I suggest you to refer the article Fix sound problems in Windows 10
for more troubleshooting steps.

If the issue still persists try updating the latest Firmware & Drivers from the
manufacture’s website.

Click on Support section and select the preferred option under
Contact Us to get in touch with the manufacturer support for the further assistance.
