Windows 10: Souns

My 3.5mm isn't working when its plugged into my PC. But when I plug my stero system that isn't working when plugged into my PC, and plug it into my phone, it works. When its plugged into my PC, it give me a crackling sound, nothing plays. But when I connect it to bluetooth, it works just fine. Can anyone help with this?

I suggest you to run the Hardware troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
• Click on troubleshooting, then click on “Hardware and sound”.
• Under Hardware and sound, click on “hardware and devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.
