Windows 10: Space occupied in documents with nothing stored in it

Discus and support Space occupied in documents with nothing stored in it in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I don't have anything stored in C drive as documents but when I check storage of C drive in settings, it shows more than 4GB occupied in "documents"...     Space occupied in documents with nothing stored in it


    I don't have anything stored in C drive as documents but when I check storage of C drive in settings, it shows more than 4GB occupied in "documents" section. How can I fix this?

    Desktop occupies space in side by side and stacked mode

    IT didnt happened in windows 7 when I enable show windows side by side but in windows 10 desktop also occpies space. Screenshot is attaches with tjis question. Please solve my Problem. I dont want desktop to occupy space and make my documents use full

    Downloads folder is the Documents folder

    I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

    Step 1:

    Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

    • Go to Download folder.
    • Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
    • In Properties go to Location tab.
    • In location Tab Click on Restore Default.


    Step 2:

    Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

    • Go to Documents folder.
    • Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
    • In Properties go to Location tab.
    • In location Tab Click on Restore Default.
    After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.
