Windows 10: spacebar lagging?

everytime i use my keyboard on my laptop, it seems to type just fine until i use the spacebar? everytime i do, it stops me from typing, and starts to lag continuously entering/pressing the same key even though im not pressing it, having to keyboard smash to stop it, just weird in general? this started happening yesterday during the afternoon i think, however before that my laptop keyboard was just fine. every solution i see doesnt fix this or doesnt meet the issue im experiencing, ive tried shutting down, restarting and sleeping my device but it wont work. any advice? i dont want to keep usi

Random lag spikes

We would like to know more about your lag issue:

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Disable Spacebar to Sign In with Windows Hello

Thanks for helping out here with this issue.
I did try the steps listed on the site you suggested. No luck, unfortunately.

The Logitech Brio can log in w Windwos Hello. But, the spacebar is still an issue. The built-in camera has the below issue FYI

I have tried to isolate the issue and just use the built-in HP camera. Now I get "Couldn't turn on camera. Please sign-in with your PIN"

I have also tried ALL of these steps as well. And Biometrics is enabled on the device and allows users to log-in using Biomtrics

I'm wondering if we can fix the missing camera issue if that would fix the first issue with the spacebar. Just a thought

 

Windows Key + Spacebar not working

Tried using SFC as you suggested and it went through all the steps successfully, but Windows key + Spacebar still doesn't work.

Looked at the link you gave and I see that one of the posts with a similar problem was using an HP Pavilion - same as me.

But it was the keyboard shortcut was working till the upgrade.

I've not tried Andre's suggestion yet.
