    I too fell for the incredibly destructive SparkTrust ruse and have not been able to obtain Wi-Fi access or EVEN open my lap top since I closed it after HOURS of dribble from a variety of SparkTrust "techs" who were attempting to "resolve" the problem, Thus
    I am unable to get into my laptop to attempt to scan/remove this insidious virus. Though all of the fees ($250 total) I paid for the program, "help" from Sparktrust and "assistance from "Advance Tech Support"... who by the way are directly associated with
    Sparktrust... they were not able to resolve the start-up problem re my laptop.

    Thus the laptop is totally useless as it cannot be opened beyond the non functional sign-in screen which always shows "Not Connected to Wi-Fi" icon, nor does bypassing my Wi-Fi router and directly connecting to my cable modem. I would most sincerely appreciate
    and be forever grateful to whomever has had this problem and can inform me how to zap the SparkTrust virus and all related bits and pieces from a lap top which I cannot even open to access the laptop functions or Wi-Fi.

    I notice you listed “Other” as your antimalware program so that indicates you are not using Windows Defender.

    Have you sought advice and assistance from your antimalware provider (Avast, AVG, McAfee, Norton, etc)?

    I don’t understand your post and why you were paying someone associated with Sparktrust to help you remove a Sparktrust program.

    Can you try a System Restore?
