I thought something was interesting there.
I bookmarked a couple sites in IE on the W10 Phone Preview, and when I opened Favorites there was also a favorite called www.bing.com when I clicked on it, it opened up the Cortana UI.
I could also speak my query into IE but I can't recall if it opened in IE or Cortana!? *Redface

    :)

  3. Outlook Mobile and Exchange/Office 365 accounts

I was testing various email accounts in Outlook Mobile on Windows Phone 7/8 and find Exchange/Office 365 mailboxes render email differently compared to a IMAP/POP3/Gmail/Yahoo! Mail/Outlook.com account.

From research and testing, everything but Office 365/Exchange render email with IE Mobile. For the accounts that use the EAS (Exchange ActiveSync) protocol the rendering engine seems different.

Can anyone or a Windows Phone developer tell me what rendering engine is being used to render email on Exchange/Office 365 mailboxes?

Flash Player not working/recognised in Edge

I too am having the same problem. Flash under Edge does not work. It is not recognized as being installed by using pages. Perhaps the issue is the upgrade path. I went from Windows 7 Home Premium to 10 HP. One thing to note is that flash works fine if
I select the menu option "Open With Internet Explorer". That is, in the IE window, Flash works. My understanding is that the application is still Edge, just using the old IE rendering engine. So if the application is using the same Flash player, then the issue
is in the rendering engine. Specifically the Edge rendering engine.

Spartan: The latest build 10049 has an early version of Spartan. I found it strange that when I enable the favorites bar, it shows what I had on my chrome install, not IE. The favorites bar is also cutoff. I think I was confused on the chrome thing*Redface [img] 5048

Spartan and tabs: I can't find anything that explains tab control adequetly. When I open and use Spartan for about 1 hour I acumulate about 25 tabs. When I leave Spartan and return most of these remain in the tab section. If I go to a new site the search hangs up the browser. Any ideas thanks...
