Windows 10: Speaker and headphones not working. If I use an usb headset, this one works.

Hi! I'm having some trouble with my laptop, it is a Lenovo V14-ADA. Yesterday it ran an update related to windows 11 and suddenly the speakers and headphones connected using a jack cable stopped working. Odd thing is that if I use my gaming headset hyperx cloud those work perfectly. I've tried the following:Updated the driversran the troubleshooter, with no success.updated the drivers using the default driver for sounduninstalled the drivers and let the computer reinstall themreset windows 10 keeping old filesupdated to windows 11reseted windows 11Now I'm going to try to reinstall window

Speakers and headphones work at the same time

Let us isolate your concern by answering these few questions.

• Have you tried connecting your headphones directly to your desktop?
• Does your speaker work normally when connected to your desktop?

You may try the following steps to help resolve your concern:

• Unplug or Disconnect your speaker from the desktop.
• Connect your headphone directly to the desktop.

If the headphone works properly when directly connected to the desktop, we suggest that you contact your speaker manufacturer for assistance.

USB Headset and Speakers working at the same time

So, I just received my new headset (G35) and it's a USB headset. Previously I had always used a 2-way 3.5mm jack splitter (in 1 end goes headphone jack, in other goes the speaker jack and then the splitter goes into the PC) which meant that I could listen to the same thing either using my speakers or headphones without having to fiddle around with sound settings (a.k.a. change the device where the sound is playing). So, is there any way to do something like this with speakers and a USB headset?

If someone isn't clear what I mean, ask me again but generally people should get the idea.

I suggest you try the steps listed below and check if it works. This issue could be because of the Headphones BT SPEAKER Stereo being set as default. I suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works.

• Pair the speaker with your PC.
  
• Right click the Windows icon on the taskbar and choose
  Device Manager.
  
• Expand Sound, video, and game controllers
  and right click on your Bluetooth speaker (BT SPEAKER Stereo).
  
• Choose Disable and acknowledge the confirmation popup. Wait for the screen to refresh.
  
• Right click on the same device again and Enable.
  
• Exit Device Manager and see if the issue persist.
