  1. Speaker problems after recent update

After last night when i shut my pc down for a windows update im having this issue with my speakers.

I cant play sound out of my speakers. To be more specific its not even letting me use them to play sound. If i try to play a spotify song, spotify just tells me that the song cant be played right now. Youtube videos just produce no sound. I cant even "test" my speakers, it just gives me an error.

BUT i can play sound out of my headset, not only can i play sound out of my headset, if my headset is on, no matter what output device i select the sound ONLY comes out of my headset. AND i can play spotify with no issues if my headset is on. Even if i select my speakers, the sound will continue to play through my headset. Before the update, even if my headset was on, if it wasnt selected as the output device it didnt play sound. Ive tried setting my speakers as the default device.

I have no idea what is going on. This bug makes no sense, why would the sound just come through my headset no matter what?
