Windows 10: Speakers and mic not recognized by my laptop

I've been having some trouble with my laptop since it doesn't detect the built-in audio device. Meaning that I can't use the speakers, plugged-in headphones and the built-in mic. I am pretty sure it is a software problem. I have tried pretty much everything i found online, but nothing has worked, not even the full windows reboot with wiping everything. I did all the basic stuff with updates, played with device manager deinstalling and so on, I don't know what else to do.Can someone please help me?

Laptop won't detect speaker and mic

I run W10 on a Dell Inspiron laptop. Today, my laptop stopped recognizing my speaker and mic. I had just installed update KB5016616, and now my laptop won't detect my speaker and mic. I uninstalled what I think to be the device inquest and rebooted; the driver came back, but the devices still aren't detected. (FWIW, my headphones work, but not my speaker.) I've also run dism to fix any problems with system files, but that didn't help. The devices aren't listed in "Settings," and elsewhere my AMD audio is not connected. How do I fix this?

 

Headset and Mic are recognized as speakers... I need them to work.

So my Headset works I have tested it multiple times but the problem is, that when I go into sound and disable speakers my headphones disable too.

My mic on the headset also doesn't work when I plug it in, it doesn't recognize it. It just automatically switches to the laptops built in mic, and I have tested 3 different mics and they all worked on my Xbox One controller, my Iphone, and my Nintendo switch.
Whenever I plug it in, once again, it's not its own standalone device it just recognizes, and bear with me, as the speakers... ANY HELP! PLEASE?!?

 

Why is my headphones connected as speakers yet they work but the mic is not recognized or doesn't work?

So i tried connecting my headphones to the laptop,

It has been recognized as speakers and they seem to work still.

The issue is that I cannot use my mic connected to the headphones since the laptop doesn't recognize it.

The headphones are apple EarPods with a 3.mm headphone plug.
