Speakers/Audio Suddenly Stopped Working on Dell with Windows 11

This is in regards to my Dell XPS 17 9720, purchased in November of 2022. The "Premium Support" warranty from Dell ended on December 5, 2023. Amazingly enough, in mid-December just a few days after the warranty ended I started occasionally noticing a random weird popping/clicking noise from the speakers. Now, after a Windows Update and as of mid-January, 2024, the speakers DO NOT WORK at all and I have ZERO audio.I've run all of the Windows Audio Troubleshooters.I've installed all available Windows 11 system updates.I've checked for available driver updates none.I've tried to rollback to a

Speakers/Audio Suddenly Stopped Working on Dell with Windows 11

This is in regards to my Dell XPS 17 9720, purchased in November of 2022. The "Premium Support" warranty from Dell ended on December 5, 2023. Amazingly enough, in mid-December (just a few days after the warranty ended) I started occasionally noticing a random weird popping/clicking noise from the speakers. Now, after a Windows Update and as of mid-January, 2024, the speakers DO NOT WORK at all and I have ZERO audio.

    • I've run all of the Windows Audio Troubleshooters.
    • I've installed all available Windows 11 system updates.
    • I've checked for available driver updates (none).
    • I've tried to rollback to a previous driver version, but can't (the option is grayed out).
    • I've disabled Enhanced Audio.
    • I've restarted Windows Explorer from the Task Manager.
    • I've restarted both the Windows Audio and the Windows Audio Endpoint Builder from the Services Manager.
    • I've restarted my machine itself several times.

The icon in the taskbar shows the volume IS up/on, but no sound is made.

Please help. This is extremely frustrating and Dell's support is useless. Thank you in advance.

Audio sound not working on speakers/or headphones. No sound

Yesterday my audio worked fine on both my speakers on my laptop (Dell Inspiron/N5110) and headphones. Then all of a sudden they stopped working. I have made sure that all the volumes are not muted. I did a troubleshoot on playing audio and it said low audio device volume detected, but when I increase the volume, nothing happens. Any one have any suggestions?
