Windows 10: Speakers now crackling after upgrading Windows 23H2

Hello, I upgraded my Lenovo T16 AMD Ryzen Pro 5 laptop with Realtek Audio, the other day from 2023-10 Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB4023057, that I wasn't having audio issues with at allBut ever since upgrading to Windows 11, version 23H2 the audio from my speakers will randomly crackle, I have went through Microsoft and Lenovo forums, as well as asked Bing and Dell and HP forums, and realize this is a common issue after upgrading OS sometimes. - I have performed various recommended troubleshooting already such as running the troubleshooter and shutting off the a

Cannot change sound quality frequency/Crackling speakers

Issues with my lenovo ideapad 330s Laptop:

• Crackling speakers sometimes they are silent or in other cases they stay quiet no matter the volume.
• Crackling in earbuds
• cannot change sound frequency (grayed out)

Note: The speakers were fine when i got it but after I reset windows theyve started crackling. Ive tried fixing my crackling speakers by:

• uninstalling/reinstalling device drivers
• reinstalling windows
• creating new accounts
• disabling every driver one at a time to see if that changes anything
• checking internal cabling to make sure no wires are touching

I still have yet to try changing sound frequency because its grayed out

PS: nothing important is on the computer i dont mind losing anything.

Help would very much be appreciated.

 

Crackling sound From Speakers

Title: Crackling noise from laptop speakers on Windows 11

Hi community,

I'm facing a frustrating issue with my HP Pavilion Gaming Edition laptop running Windows 11. Whenever I play audio on my laptop, I hear crackling noises from the speakers. It's extremely annoying and I've tried everything I could think of to fix it. Even after purchasing external speakers, the issue persists.

The interesting thing is, when I switch to Ubuntu or any other Linux distro, the speakers work perfectly fine. I'm not sure what's causing this problem on Windows 11. I've updated all the drivers and checked for any conflicts, but nothing seems to work.

I'm hoping someone in the community has experienced a similar issue and has found a solution. I'd be grateful for any suggestions on how to fix this issue. Also, please let me know if you need any more information about my system or setup.

Speakers Crackling since Windows 10 update

I too struggled with this issue for sometime, no sound or sound with pauses crackling always present in the background.

The problem started with current build of Windows 10, Version 1703. (OS Build 15063.674). Installing old OEM driver also did not work.

My speakers which are connected to back the panel Jacks had this issue.

Threw old speakers out from window. Used USB Premium head-set. Crackling sound disappeared dramatically.

Lesson learned. If nothing works, upgrade hardware.
