Windows 10: Speakers stop working every time my laptop goes into sleep mode

Pretty much the title. If I disable and re-enable the speaker under output devices then it works fine until I close it. It's basically a brand new laptop, so I don't knoww what it could be.

Speakers and headphones work at the same time

• Does your speaker work normally when connected to your desktop?

After KB3081424, Laptop Goes Into Sleep Mode Repeatedly

KB3081424 installed successfully according to Windows Update history. I have turned off going into Sleep mode when it is plugged in. However, after update, laptop goes into sleep mode after a few minutes of inactivity. I uninstalled the update and my
laptop still goes into sleep mode. Everything else seems to be working. It connects to the internet same as always. Outlook seems to be working. Sleep thing is just a Nuisance.

Does anyone know if Microsoft knows about the problem and do they have a plan to resolve it?

 

Laptop goes to sleep to quickly

My HP Laptop w/ Windows 10 goes to SLEEP mode within a minute.

I have tried changing the settings and I have tried troubleshooting.

and a few other silly suggestions found on line. Nothing works!

Very frustrating. Has anyone found an actual solution?
