Windows 10: Specific game freezing for a few seconds every 20-30 seconds.

I'm having trouble running Hitman 3. It will load up correctly, but once I'm playing, it will start freezing for a few seconds every 20-30 seconds. This started happening out of the blue, a week or 2 after their most recent update. I didn't change anything in my PC before it started occurring. why is my cursor freezing every 20- 30 seconds for about 20- 30 seconds?

hi . have recently upgraded to windows 10 and now when i try to play videos on my comp. they freeze for a split second with a buzzing sound about every 20 to 30 seconds. same happens when the kids play the sims etc. any advice would be greatly appreciated
as im a bit of a duffer as far as computers go. thanx

 

Micro stutter every 20 seconds

Now that I've upgraded my laptop to W10 from 7, I'm having a weird problem: in VLC Player, Chrome, most games (except CS:GO), the display hangs for around half a second or so every 20 seconds. The audio has no problems, but these mini freezes are everywhere
and they've gotten very annoying.

Specs (It's a PackardBell EasyNote TM):

CPU: Intel Core i5-430M

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 320M

4GB RAM

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, I'm going nuts over here, seeing as I didn't have this problem with Windows 7.
