Windows 10: Specific laptop and specific monitor not working together

My monitor suddenly stopped working with my laptop. This issue only pertains however to my specific laptop and monitor as I have been able to connect other laptops to my monitor and been able to connect my laptop to other monitors. I have tried other cables as well but that did not work either, along with the fact that other devices worked fine with my cable. On the laptop side of things, I have attempted the following:1. Deleting the graphics drivers2. Wiping the entire laptop3. Using different cablesNone of these worked. Any help would be appreciated.

Any portable Windows tool that monitors activities on a specific HDD?

Seeking advice on a (preferably) portable Windows tool that shows all activities and / or processes that are accessing a specific HDD. When launching WIndows' Resource Monitor (tab 'Disk') it will show activities on -all- drives. AFAIK there is no way to 'limit' thge display of activities just for one drive out of the list. Any suggestions? Thanks!

 

Shortcut to move to specific Monitor?

Hi,

I have 4 monitors on my computer, is there a shortcut (or program) to send a window to a specific monitor?

eg... I am working on Monitor 1 and want to send it to monitor 3 (without having to tap Windows+****+arrow to move it across all screens)

Basically is there a way to have hotkeys to specific monitors. eg. control 1 = monitor 1, control 2 = monitor 2 etc... ??

Windows 10 search for a specific folder name and file name

Carlos: Thanks for your reply. What you suggest is what I have been doing. I search for folders with a specific name and get a list. Then I have to search each folder for a specific file. So it's a two step search and that's what I was trying to avoid.

I assume there are applications out there that allow for an "AND" search in Windows. I'll try that approach.
