Windows 10: "Specified service does not exist as an installed service"

Hello. I've been having trouble with my Pc. When I'm downloading or try to open certain things, it tells me "Specified service does not exist as an installed service." I'm not sure when this problem started. I am unable to update Windows as well. I can't run Command Prompt as an administrator and I cannot open Device manager. This has also affected Steam and Epic. I'm not sure what to do. This has been happening for about a month.

Hello,

I have a big problem.Yesterday I started my computer and everything worked fine until I wanted to play one game.I double-clicked it and an error showed up saying: "The specified service does not exist as an installed service". I tried some other programs
like CMD(as admin, which worked normally before) and again, it sayd:" C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe The specified service does not exist as an installed service". So I started to look around web and I found out it could be because trojan or rootkit. I couldn't
turn on windows defender because whenever I tried, it would just open system32. I tried to download
Avast but same error appeared. Then I red about Safe Mode and I tried to start PC in safe mode, but when I would Shift+Restart, Blue screen would show up and there was only "Proceed to Windows" and "Turn off computer" and no
troubleshoot.Can someone tell me what to do because I'm scared that more and more programs would stop working and that I won't be able to use my computer anymore.By the way, none of "Windows" programs work, like regedit, msconfig,cmd(works only as non-admin)

Since installing Windows 10 the message in the subject field appeared when I tried to connect my printer to a new network after changing my router

My laptop also no longer recognises printer when I connect it via USB (though it did 2 weeks ago) so I was not able to do use the USB connection to set up the printer

I have a HP Photosmart C4780 printer and went onto the HP site and downloaded new software and drivers and tried to set printer up as a new device as could find no way to configure it to a new network. The message "specified service does not exist as an
installed service" still appeared

all I wanted to do was re- configure the printer to the new network!!!



in the end I had to reconnect old router to be able to print wirelessly.

any advice as need to update my router as current one is not functioning well and at some point I will need to replace it
