    Thanks. You guys nailed it! I visited like at least 10 other sites. Was driving me nuts! This was the third system I upgraded to windows 10 pro and was the newest. So surprised to run into this.

    Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2H (Rev 1.0) purchased ~ 2009.

  3. Hey Shaun, I just wanted to say thank you so much, you've saved my butt countless times with all the bugs AND ridiculously inexcusable restrictions on my Surface Pro 3. I love your simply to-the-point and 100% always working help files on this forum. I don't even remember how many of them I have used, but the ones I remember the most are bringing back options for the power settings on my Surface that Microsoft disabled, to save tons of battery life. Thanks!!!

    @Injust:

    Me too. I fixed. How?

    Code: POWERCFG /HIBERNATE /SIZE 0 POWERCFG /HIBERNATE /TYPE REDUCED[/quote] Keep in mind that the Reduced type only for fast startup. The source: MSDN Libraray.

    Personally, I haven't already been using the hibernate. I still use the sleep function. it's enough to me.

    Hello ameeralhindi, *Smile

    It depends on if you want to use Fast Startup or not as well.

    If not, then you could just disable hibernate.

    If yes, then you could set hibernate to reduced.
