Windows 10: Spectre x360 2018. Left and Right shift keys not working

I don't understand how this came to be as the entire keyboard on my laptop works perfectly and has been since I bought this laptop approximately 7 months ago. I do also understand that the keys themselves could be damaged, but the fact that only these two, the left and right shift key, work only occasionally, it's a perplexing coincidence if I've ever seen one.


Adding onto what I hinted at, they do in fact work every now and again but everytime they stop working, the time that they take to recover seems to get increasingly longer. This is incredibly worrisome as I am a freelance writer and coder so this is more than a minor setback, unfortunately.


I would greatly and graciously appreciate any feedback; I'm currently thinking that a software bug may be to blame but that's just me hoping it isn't actually my keyboard.

Can't setup Windows Hello after fall update on HP Spectre x360

I am very confused re:your reply. The last reply on the thread was 12/23/2017. My reply on 01/04/2018 is only 10 days after which I don't consider old. Additionally,
the question "Can't setup Windows Hello after Fall Update on HP Spectre x360" is directly answered by my suggestion to update the driver on the HP TrueVision FHD RGB-IR, which is the camera used in the spectre x360 13" and 15", which will solve
most problems using Windows Hello after the Fall Creators update with the spectre x360 camera. Regardless, I will post no more.

 

Garmin Nuvi 3597 GPS not recognized by Hp Spectre x360

Same problem others have posted concerning this Garmin device. Spectre x360 Windows 10 OS does not recognize the Garmin as being connected. Three USB 3.0 ports tried, but the Garmin is just getting power from those ports, not data. Garmin worked perfectly
with our 2010 ASUS desktop Windows 7 OS, but it is presently in for repairs. It has been suggested that the Spectre's USB 3.0 ports are too fast for the Nuvi 3597, that Windows 10 is not stepping down the speed to accommodate the device; therefore, a USB
2.0 hub is required as a "go-between".......any thoughts or suggestions?

x360 Design and Experience for Maximum Versatility
The HP Spectre x360 is designed with an all CNC aluminum chassis and is 15.9 millimeters in height and weighs 3.3 pounds. The device features polished metal on the sides that is achieved using a single machined cut, giving it a jewelry-like finish in a natural silver color.

With the HP Spectre x360, customers get an ultra-thin PC with additional versatility to experience multiple modes in one device.
