    Speech Recognition not working at all.


    Hi,I am so darn frustrated because Windows Speech Recognition is not working anymore. It worked until last week, even after I trained the computer to bloody hear me! I tried using a new profile, using my headphones, rebooting and resetting my computer. I even tried sfc /scannow and DISM commands. But nothing changed. I just keep seeing the three dreaded words: What was that? Can someone, anyone please help with this? I'm pulling my hair out!!!!!Sincerely,JayBurch1

    Are facing any issue with speech recognition?

    I would suggest you to follow the steps to see Advance speech options.

    • Press Windows+X key on the keyboard
    • Click on control panel
    • Select speech recognition
    • On the left hand pane you will see Advance speech option

    Try the following steps to uncheck the Run Speech Recognition at startup option from the Speech Recognition:

    • Type Speech Recognition in the search bar and select the Speech Recognition from the list.
    • Click on the Advanced speech options from the left pane.
    • Uncheck mark on Run Speech Recognition at startup.
    • Click on Apply and Ok.
