Windows 10: Speech Recognition - "start listening" command failure

Why does Windows 11 Speech Recognition not recognise my "start listening" command and how can I fix this?

Win 10 Speech Recognition

I was going to try the settings one more time as you suggested. However I ran into deadlock even at the first step:



“…Select the
Speech Recognition > Set up Speech Recognition page…”



No such choice as “Set up Speech Recognition”. How can I send you the screen shot?

I suggest you to follow the link below and try to change it. However, if a word or phrase is
bold, it's an example. Replace it with similar words to get the result you want. Follow the steps below:

• 
  Type Speech Recognition in the search box.
  
• 
  Say "open Speech Dictionary."
  
• 
  Say "start listening" or click the
  Microphone button to start the listening mode.
  
• 
  Click or say Change existing words.
  
• 
  Click or say Edit a word or
  Delete a word, and then follow the instructions in the wizard.

I would suggest you to follow the steps to see Advance speech options.

• Press Windows+X key on the keyboard
• Click on control panel
• Select speech recognition
• On the left hand pane you will see Advance speech option
