    speech recognition


    Speech recognition will not work because the recognizer language is not the same as the user interface language. The settings available under speech, language and ease of access are all OK but in the Administrative Language settings the Current user, Welcome and New User displays are listed as United Kingdom. The Welcome Input location are listed as United Kingdom as are all of the New User settings. Changing Current User Display has no effect.

    How do I reset the languages so speech recognition will work?

    Are facing any issue with speech recognition?

    I would suggest you to follow the steps to see Advance speech options.

    • Press Windows+X key on the keyboard
    • Click on control panel
    • Select speech recognition
    • On the left hand pane you will see Advance speech option

    Try the following steps to uncheck the Run Speech Recognition at startup option from the Speech Recognition:

    • Type Speech Recognition in the search bar and select the Speech Recognition from the list.
    • Click on the Advanced speech options from the left pane.
    • Uncheck mark on Run Speech Recognition at startup.
    • Click on Apply and Ok.
