Windows 10: Speech Synthesis Output - Copy right/License

Hi


I am planning to develop an application which converts my own text to speech using the SpeechSynthesizer with installed voices in the OS.

I would like to know whether any licenses required for using the output audio files for training, as uploading to websites etc. and the voices are copyright protected or not. Already gone through the Use of Microsoft Copyrighted Content and nothing found specific to the use speech synthesis output and voices.

I can see no reference to speech output on the link you send me. Simply sending me a link again is not a helpful response

surely there must be some way of contacting Microsoft to get this issue resolved.

Hi,

I wonder if you can help me please.

I am disabled and amongst other thingsI have a speech impediment.

I want to produce videos for youtube but I think my voice would deter people from watching.

As I program in Visual Basic it would be quite an easy matter to produce speech files from text. I could then use this as a soundtrack to my videos. Rather like Stephen Hawking does.

The issue is copyright.

The Ivona voices I have copyright the speech output files.

I wonder if I can use the installed Microsoft voices to produce sound files to use online videos or would this be a breach of copyright?

I am thinking of Microsoft Mike.(windows XP ) or David (Windows 10)
