Windows 10: Speedlink Xeox SL-6566-BK Wireless Gamepad Connection Issue

Good day all, have had the Xeox SL-6566-BK wireless gamepad for a few years now and it worked fine on Windows 10 but, as of the middle of this year, it has now stopped connecting to the dongle. It first started with connecting only after a few attempts of plugging out and in, including different USB ports but eventually that didn't help anymore. I did troubleshooting and the message it gave was to plug the device into an available USB 2.0 port yet it had worked before on this very notebook so how could it have suddenly stopped working now? By the way, I did contact customer support twice and eventually received no more feedback. Anybody know of a fix?

Screen Turn off after & Sleep after... don't work

It seems I've found what device prevented my notebook from going to sleep and turning off display. It was Speedlink Wireless XEOX Gamepad. Sleep works fine when Speedlink USB stick is not connected.

The new STRIKE NX range includes four different models. There is a gamepad with USB connection and a wireless model respectively for Playstation 3 and computer. The model for PC allows users to switch between XInput and DirectInput, meaning both current and older games can be optimally supported and played. The new models are available in specialist retailers as of Easter. The wireless model has a RRP of €29.99 and the non-wireless has a RRP of €19.99.
