Windows 10: Spell check settings turned on in browsers and W10 yet not working,

The spell check settings are turned on in browsers Firefox, Chrome & Edge and toggled on in windows 10 under Typing but spell check does not work. I fiest noticed it when I was posting in Nextdoor and in Youtube places I try to get my spelling right. I also noticed that the right click menu does not contain a spell check option. What can I do to get spell check working as it's supposed to.

Windows should make necessary auto-correction if the Autocorrect misspelled words option in the Settings app is enabled. A built-in restriction on the website you are using could be a possible cause why the spell check is not working on it. For us to provide
an accurate resolution, we would need you to answer the following questions:

• Are you experiencing the same issue even when accessing the website using other web browsers, or is the issue isolated to a specific browser?
• Is the spell check working before on the website you are using? If yes, what changes have you made to your computer before this issue occurred?
• Are you experiencing the same issue on other websites?

To check if the issue is not with the built-in spell checker on your Windows 10, we suggest testing it on any Office application. Let us know if the spell check is also not working with the Office apps.

• Is the issue particular to Mail app?
• Have you installed all pending updates?

From your issue description I understand that you need to turn on the Spell check feature in windows mail app.
Follow the steps below to Turn on the spell check in Settings.



1. Type Settings.

2. Click on Device.

3. Select typing.

4. Turn ON autocorrect misspelled word.

5. Turn ON highlight misspelled word.

Spartan/Edge.. turning on spell check??





And spell with 3 L's auto corrected for me, most words do, which is a pain when I write German, or a mix of both English & German.
For a list, go to the right of the word, right click, and swipe left.
