Windows 10: Spell checker has stopped working in whiteboard on my laptop

When I use windows whiteboard on my laptop the spell checker does not work. Does anyone know why?

Spell checker has just stopped working and when i check IE add ons there is no listing of spellchecker.

Spell Checker not working in Mail or Word Windows 10

The spelling checker is working in my Windows 10 Mail, and gives suggest corrections in a list, but there is no ADD function shown, to add the word to a custom dictionary. Office 365 Spell checker has this capability and saves the 'new' word to 'custom.dic'
and 'roamingdefault.dic. Mail seems to have this function, as the 'misspelt' word is at the bottom of the suggested alternatives but with a + in front of it. I assume this will then add it to a Mail custom dictionary but I can find no reference to what its
file name is or where is it located, so I cannot go and edit it, which I can do with the Office 365 dictionary.

The spell checker has stopped working every since 12/23 when 3 Windows 10 updates completed on my computer. When I restarted, it gave me a warning that my computer had been restored to a older version. Well, it had to be a lot older, because I've had a text
wide spell checker going since at least Windows 7, but most probably older. It also did several other things that I spent many hours and many dollars correcting when Microsoft forced Windows 10 on me. Now most of those are back. Anyone help with the spell
checker?
